The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:
Lewes Waterfront Preserve, LLC of Bear, Delaware, to construct a duplex pump station and approximately seventy nine linear feet of two and half inch (79 LF of 2.5”) forcemain to serve the proposed Lewes Waterfront Preserve residential development, located approximately 450 LF northeast from the intersection of Blue Heron Drive and New Road, Lewes, Delaware. The pump station will be located at the northern end of the development. The forcemain will exit to the north of the pump station and tie into a recently constructed 8” forcemain on New Road.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before October 17, 2021. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
