The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application for the construction of wastewater conveyance has been received concerning the following:
Kaestone Bay, LLC proposes to install a duplex submersible sanitary sewer pump station, approximately one thousand eight hundred and fifteen linear feet (1,815 LF) of four (4) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main and related appurtenances to serve seventy-five (75) proposed single family homes in section one (1) and an additional one hundred and nineteen (119) proposed single family homes in future sections of the Kaestone Bay subdivision located at the southeast and northeast corners of the intersection of Banks Road and Green Road south of Marshtown and northeast of Millsboro in Sussex County, Delaware. The proposed pump station will be located within section one of Kaestone Bay and discharge to an existing four (4) inch diameter force main on the west side of Banks Road just south of the Green Road intersection.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before July 21, 2023. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
