The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application for the construction of wastewater conveyance has been received concerning the following:

Jones Enterprise Brewing, LLC proposes to install a duplex low pressure sanitary sewer grinder pump station, approximately four hundred and fifteen linear feet (415 LF) of 1.25 inch diameter sanitary sewer force main and related appurtenances to serve the proposed Lewes Brewing Company microbrewery located at 1145 Savannah Road in Lewes, Delaware. The proposed force main will cross Savannah Road to the north side and head east just north of the existing sidewalk until it discharges to an existing City of Lewes gravity manhole (S018) in Savannah Road.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before March 27, 2022. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
