The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application for the construction of wastewater conveyance has been received concerning the following:

Estuary Development, LLC proposes to install a duplex submersible sanitary sewer pump station, approximately two thousand four hundred and ninety-eight linear feet (2,498 LF) of four (4) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main and related appurtenances to serve one hundred and fifteen (115) proposed single family homes in phase four (4) of the Estuary subdivision and fifty-five (55) existing homes in the Oak Orchard subdivision located south of Oceanview and east of Roxana in Sussex County, Delaware. The proposed pump station will be located on the west side of Millers Neck Road just south of the White Oak Drive intersection. The proposed force main will be installed within the proposed phase four (4) subdivision right-of-way and discharge to an existing Sussex County manhole (S-64A) on Lanterns Glow Road.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before February 1, 2023. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
