The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application for the construction of wastewater conveyance has been received concerning the following:
Chestnut Properties II, LLC proposes to construct a duplex submersible sanitary sewer pump station and approximately one thousand three hundred and seventy-three linear feet (1,373 LF) of four (4) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main to serve the proposed one hundred and sixteen (116) lot Phase Four Cannery Village subdivision located on the north side of the intersection of Front St. and Cave Neck Road in Milton, Delaware. The proposed gravity sanitary sewer will connect to the proposed pump station on the north side of the property. The proposed force main will run through the community under public roads before connecting to an existing six (6) inch diameter Tidewater Environmental Services force main in Front Street.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before August 18, 2021. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
