The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application for the construction of wastewater conveyance has been received concerning the following:

Artesian Water Management, Inc. proposes to install a section of force main, approximately four thousand five hundred and seventy-one linear feet (4,571 LF) of twelve (12) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main, two hundred and forty linear feet (240 LF) of six (6) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main, and related appurtenances to connect from Independence along Harmons Hill Road to Townsend Road and on Franklin Roosevelt Lane to tie in to existing force mains and leave a stub for future development.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before December 20, 2023. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
