The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up the Amtrak Maintenance Facility, Operable Unit 1 (OU-1) located at 4001 Vandever Avenue in Wilmington. The Site includes approximately 52 acres of the Amtrak Wilmington Maintenance Shops. A Final Plan of Remedial Action was issued for the adjacent Amtrak Former Fueling Facility (DE-0266) in August 2020. Remedial Activities required by DNREC and EPA for both the Maintenance Facility and Former Fueling Facility sites will be designed and conducted concurrently.
