The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up the 38 Bancroft Mills Road Site (DE-1758) located at 38 Bancroft Mills Road. The Site is currently a vacant parcel that houses concrete vaults once used to settle water for use at Wilmington Piece Dye (DE-130).

The 38 Bancroft Mills Road Site will be subject to the following key remedial actions: The placement of a cap, the submittal and adherence to a Contaminated Materials Management Plan (CMMP) and long term stewardship plan, and the placement of an environmental covenant that will restrict the site’s use of groundwater.
