Nanticoke Indian Association has applied for a permit to construct an on-site wastewater treatment and disposal system permit. The system will be a replacement pressure dosed full depth tile field with advanced denitrification meeting PSN-3 standards and will serve an existing cultural education building plus expansion with a flow rate of 590 gallons per day. The site is located at 27073 John J. Williams Highway near Millsboro, DE Sussex County tax parcel 234-29.00-53.00.

A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
