The Hazardous Substance Cleanup Act (HSCA), 7 Del. C. § 9107 (a)(1), requires the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) to provide “public notification within 20 days after entering into negotiations for a voluntary cleanup settlement agreement with any person that agrees to perform a remedy.”
As required by §9107 (a)(1), DNREC advises that it is negotiating a Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) Agreement with Golf Course Assoc., LLC regarding portions of the Hercules Road and Lancaster Pike Site (DE-1492) located at Hercules Road and Lancaster Pike, Wilmington, DE. The VCP application identifies New Castle County tax parcels numbers 07-031.00-001 and 07-031.00-014 and 08-027.00-001 and 08-027.00-007. The Site requires remedial action due to historic activities on site. For Site-specific information, please see DNREC’s Environmental Navigator at www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3.
