The Hazardous Substance Cleanup Act (HSCA), 7 Del. C. §9107 (a)(1), requires the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) to provide “public notification within 20 days after entering into negotiations for a voluntary cleanup settlement agreement with any person that agrees to perform a remedy.”
As required by 7 Del. C. §9107 (a)(1), DNREC advises that it is negotiating a Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) Agreement with Canterbury Land Development, LLC regarding the Hatteras Property Site (DE-1762) located at Clapham Road and Sophers Row, Magnolia, DE. The Site is identified as an approximate 2.4 acre portion of Kent County tax parcel number 8-00-11300-02-3200. The Site requires remedial action due to historic activities on site. For Site-specific information, please see DNREC’s Environmental Navigator at www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3.
