The Hazardous Substance Cleanup Act (HSCA), 7 Del. C. § 9107 (a)(1), requires the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) to provide “public notification within 20 days after entering into negotiations for a voluntary cleanup settlement agreement with any person that agrees to perform a remedy.”
As required by § 9107 (a)(1), DNREC advises that it is negotiating a Prospective Purchaser Agreement (PPA) with FR Land Investment, LLC regarding the Fisher Road/Monarch Glen Site (DE-1757) located at Fisher Road and Route 404, Milton, DE. The Site is identified as portions of Sussex County tax parcel number 235-30.00-143.00. The Site requires remedial action due to historic activities on site. For Site-specific information, please see DNREC’s Environmental Navigator at www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3.
