Sam Tano has applied for a formal Waiver to install an on-site wastewater treatment and disposal system (septic system) on his property known as Lot 1, Deer Park Trail in Kings Crossing near Lincoln, DE, Sussex County Tax Parcel 230-21.00-74.00. The Formal Waiver request is being made at this time to allow the sand lining of the system to extend below the limiting zone. The system will serve a single-family dwelling with a design flow rate not to exceed 600 gallons per day.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
