A Federal Consistency Determination has been submitted to the Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following: Wilmington Harbor Maintenance Dredging (2021.0053)
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District proposes to extend their authorization to conduct hydraulic maintenance dredging of approximately 750,000 cubic yards of sediment annually to a maximum of 39 feet MLLW at the authorized Federal navigation channel and turning basin within Christina River at the Port of Wilmington for a ten-year period (2021-2030). Dredged material will be pumped via pipeline to the Wilmington Harbor South or Pedricktown upland Confined Disposal Facilities.
Comments concerning this Federal Consistency Determination will be accepted for 20 days from the date of this notice.
