A Federal Consistency Determination has been submitted to the DNREC Delaware Coastal Management Program (DCMP) for the following: West End Neighborhood House Property Acquisition and Improvements (2023.0094)

West End Neighborhood House proposes to use U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development funds for the acquisition and renovation of the Shawnee Inn and 15 acres of surrounding property located at 11116 Shawnee Rd, Greenwood, Sussex Co., DE. The project includes minor interior maintenance, rehabilitation, and improvements. The property would be used to house 10 youth aging out of foster care.

The proposed activity is subject to review for consistency under the policies of the DNREC DCMP. Comments concerning this Federal Consistency Determination will be accepted through November 4, 2023.
