A Federal Consistency Determination has been submitted to the Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following: Supawna National Wildlife Refuge Restoration NWP 3 (2022.0034)
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) is a proposing to use U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nationwide Permit 3 to conduct phase 2 of their marsh restoration project located along the Delaware River front at the Supawna Meadows National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) in Pennsville Township, Salem County, New Jersey. The restoration includes removal and enhancement along a two mile stretch of an existing stone breakwater dike located southeast from the Mill Creek site around Goose Pond within the NWR to improve tidal exchange and provide shoreline protection.
Comments concerning this Federal Consistency Determination will be accepted for 20 days from the date of this notice.
