A Federal Consistency Determination has been submitted to the Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following: National Ocean Service Mapping and Surveying Activities (2022.0109)

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association’s National Ocean Service (NOS) prepared a Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement for 2023 to 2027 to analyze the potential environmental impacts associated with recurring surveys and other related data collection activities in various waterways. These collection activities may include hydrographic surveys and habitat surveys, and the installation of tide gauges and other instruments and equipment. Such activities may occur in the waters of Delaware or in nearshore terrestrial areas.

Comments concerning this Federal Consistency Determination will be accepted for 20 days from the date of this notice.
