A Federal Consistency Determination has been submitted to the Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following: USACE Indian River Inlet Repairs (2023.0030)
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers proposes to conduct repairs at three locations at Indian River Inlet in Sussex County, Delaware including repairs to the north jetty (landward and seaward), interior north shoreline bulkhead (landward and seaward under Rt. 1 highway bridge), and south jetty sand tightening (landward only). Activities include rock repair, installing a post, panel wall, and sheet pile, rock armoring, repairing a sidewalk and other landside improvements, reconnecting outfall piles, and replacing a concrete block walkway.
Comments concerning this Federal Consistency Determination will be accepted for 20 days from the date of this notice.
