A Federal Consistency Certification has been submitted to the Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following: North Millsboro Bypass, US 113 to SR 24 (2022.0071)
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is seeking a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permit for the construction of the North Millsboro Bypass from US 113 to SR 24 that includes a two-lane State Route 24 connector and separated interchange at US 113. Proposed permanent impacts include 0.042 acres of fill and 1.2372 acres of shade impacts to subaqueous lands and 0.0003 acres of impacts to palustrine forested wetlands. Temporary impacts include 0.3803 acres of subaqueous lands in Millsboro Pond between Gravel Hill Road and Betts Pond Road, Millsboro, Sussex County, DE. Additionally, temporary impacts to recreational activities in the vicinity of Millsboro Pond may occur during the construction process.
