A Federal Consistency Certification has been submitted to the Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following: South Bowers Beach Mosquito Ditch Maintenance (2021.0096)

The applicant proposes to perform maintenance on an existing mosquito ditch located west of South Bowers Road (Tax Map Parcels 5-00-12400-01-0300-00001 and 5-00-12400-01-0200-00001) to restore its drainage functionality by removing accumulated sediment from the channel. The proposed project length would be 895 linear feet and would result in the discharge of 0.00 cubic yards and 87.44 cubic yards below the planes of the low tide and high tide elevations, respectively.

Comments concerning this Federal Consistency Certification will be accepted for 30 days from the date of this notice.
