A Federal Consistency Certification has been submitted to the Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following: Middlesex Beach Nourishment (2020.0101)
Middlesex Beach Association proposes to conduct periodic beach replenishment activities during a ten-year period by hydraulically dredging approximately 103,000 cubic yards of sand from an offshore borrow area, two miles east of the project area in the Atlantic Ocean, and depositing as beach fill along an approximately 1,900 linear foot stretch of shoreline extending from the southern town limits of Bethany Beach to the northern limits of the Town of South Bethany, Sussex County, Delaware.
Comments concerning this Federal Consistency Certification will be accepted for 30 days from the date of this notice.
