A Federal Consistency Certification has been submitted to the Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following: ESNG Elkton Road Relocation Project (2021.0039)

Eastern Shore Natural Gas Company (ESNG) is proposing to relocate a portion of a 6-inch diameter buried natural gas pipeline in the areas of Elkton Road (SR 279) and Otts Chapel Road, New Castle County, Delaware. The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is performing extensive roadway improvements in the area, including widening and drainage improvements. DelDOT’s project creates conflicts and requires relocation of a portion of the 6-inch main. The proposed project is using a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission automatic authorization blanket certificate, pursuant to 18 CFR 157, subpart F.

Comments concerning this Federal Consistency Certification will be accepted for 30 days from the date of this notice.
