A Federal Consistency Certification has been submitted to the Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following: Chesapeake Utilities Broad Creek Gas Main (2022.0110)
Chesapeake Utilities Corporation proposes to use U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nationwide Permit 12 to replace approximately 375 linear feet of existing 4-inch steel gas main with a new 4-inch plastic (HDPE) main under a section of Broad Creek using horizontal directional drilling. The project location is 38.558205, -75.569656 in Laurel, Sussex County, DE 19956.
