A Federal Consistency Certification has been submitted to the DNREC Delaware Coastal Management Program (DCMP) for the following: ESNG Kent County Internal Line Inspection Preparation (2026.0023)
Eastern Shore Natural Gas proposes to utilize a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission authorization for work at four sites in the Dover and Felton areas of Kent County, DE. Proposed activities include the construction of an above ground valve nest at sites west of Moorton Road in Dover and east of South Dupont Highway in Felton, the removal of a below-ground valve and decommissioning of a section of unused pipe at a site northeast of Mckee Road in Dover, and the replacement of an inoperable below-ground valve at a site west of Lakefront Drive in Dover. This work is proposed to prepare the existing pipeline for internal inspections to meet federal requirements. The proposed activity is subject to review for consistency under the policies of the DNREC DCMP.
