A Federal Consistency Certification has been submitted to the DNREC Coastal Management Program (DCMP) for the following: Basin Cove (2026.0013)

The applicant is proposing to utilize a Rivers and Harbors Act Section 10 letter of permission from the US Army Corps of Engineers to install a 298 linear-foot elevated boardwalk and 5-foot by 20-foot observational dock structure supported by helical anchors to connect to a proposed home site at 0 Basin Road to the southern bank of Emily’s Gut in Oak Orchard, Sussex County, Delaware. This proposed activity is subject to review for consistency under the policies of the DNREC DCMP.
