A Federal Consistency Certification has been submitted to the DNREC Coastal Management Program (DCMP) for the following: Sargio Boat Docking Facility (2025.0042)

The applicant is proposing to utilize a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Individual Permit for the construction of a 3-ft wide by 127-ft long walkway elevated 3 ft above existing tidal wetlands, a 4-ft wide by 26-ft long pier (16 ft of the pier to be located from mean high water to mean low water and 10 ft channelward of mean low water), and a 5-ft wide by 40-ft long dock in the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal near the terminus of Basin Street, Bay Vista, Rehoboth Beach, DE. The proposed activity is subject to review for consistency under the policies of the DNREC DCMP.
