A Federal Consistency Certification has been submitted to the DNREC Delaware Coastal Management Program (DCMP) for the following: Estates at Bridgewater Community Marina (2025.0024)

SB Old Mill Bridge, LLC, proposes to utilize a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Individual Permit to install a marina facility on the northern bank of Dirickson Creek, east of Old Mill Bridge Road, near Frankford, Delaware (Sussex County tax parcel 134-21.00-6.00), as part of the Estates at Bridgewater Community. The proposed project includes two marina piers extending 148ft channelward of mean low water, each with a 102ft x 78ft 12-slip docking area. The eastern marina pier would also include an 8ft x 20ft floating dock, 4ft x 5ft kayak launch, and associated metal ramp. The in-water facilities would occupy a total of 4,036 square feet of public subaqueous lands, and a total of 54 square feet of federally regulated wetlands would be bridged by the two mooring piers. Specific project details and diagrams are found in the submission materials, which can be accessed via de.gov/dnrecnotices (Notice No. CCE20250117). The proposed activity is subject to review for consistency under the policies of the DNREC DCMP.
