A Federal Consistency Determination has been submitted to the DNREC Delaware Coastal Management Program (DCMP) for the following: US Navy Atlantic Fleet Training and Testing Study Area CCD (2025.0013)
The United States Navy proposes to conduct new and existing training and testing activities in the Atlantic Fleet Training and Testing Study Area. The determination submitted reflects changes in the proposed Navy training and testing activities needed to meet mission requirements and U.S. Coast Guard training activities. The potential environmental effects of the proposed training are analyzed in the Atlantic Fleet Training and Testing Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement/Overseas Environmental Impact Statement (www.nepa.navy.mil/aftteis/). Specific training exercises that may occur in or near Delaware waters are discussed in the submission materials, which can be accessed via de.gov/dnrecnotices (Notice No. CCE20250011). The proposed activity is subject to review for consistency under the policies of the DNREC DCMP.
