A Federal Consistency Certification has been submitted to the DNREC Delaware Coastal Management Program (DCMP) for the following: Anchor Way Shoreline Improvements (2024.0051)

Anchor Way, LLC proposes to utilize a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permit for shoreline improvements, including placement of 130 cubic yards of sand fill and the installation of two stone groins totaling 180 cubic yards with one extending approx. 75 feet from mean highwater line and the second extending approx. 38 feet from the mean highwater line to protect an existing deck at 116 Anchor Way, Dewey Beach, Sussex County, DE. The proposed activity is subject to review for consistency under the policies of the DNREC DCMP.
