The City of Seaford has requested a renewal of its public water allocation for five existing public wells. The requested allocation is 7.344 million gallons (MG) per day, 220.320 MG per month, and 2680.560 MG per year. The wells serve approximately 7,700 residential people in Sussex County.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by June 7, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
