Notice has been given that:
DuPont Nutrition USA, Inc.-Newark Site requests an operating permit amendment for the EP-310 Barr & Murphy Spray Dryer located at their 1301 Ogletown Road, Newark and County of New Castle facility. The proposed amendment, based on emissions performance testing results, will increase the EP-310 Barr & Murphy Spray Dryer’s permit limitation for Total Hydrocarbons (THC). The EP-310 Barr & Murphy Spray Dryer will be permitted to emit 6.05 tons per year of THC by Permit# APC-1992/0259-OPERATION (NOxRACT)(Amendment 3). All other permitted emission limits will remain unchanged.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending Monday, November 30, 2020. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
