Notice has been given that:
Diamond Materials, requests a construction permit to construct a portable concrete batch plant at their 820 Federal School Lane, New Castle, facility. The portable concrete plant which will consist of a cement mixer; a duel compartment silo; a dust collector; and ancillary equipment will be permitted to emit total particulate matter (PM) of 3.05 tons per year and particulate matter 10 micrometers or less (PM10) of 1.45 tons per year through Permit APC-2021/0015.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending September 7, 2020. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
