Notice has been given that:

Delaware Army National Guard requests a permit to construct a 755 hp diesel-fired emergency generator at 1197 River Rd, in New Castle, Delaware. The engine used in this generator set complies with U.S. EPA regulations under the provisions of 40 CFR 89, Non-Road Tier 2 and will operate only during emergencies and for the purposes of maintenance checks and readiness testing. Permit No. APC-2021/0005-Construction

The application for t5his permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at https://de.gov/dnrecnotices. To submit comments, for additional information or for information regarding how you can inspect the application, please contact Tracy Mattson at (302) 739-9402.

A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding the application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending September 21, 2020. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
