Notice has been given that:
City of Rehoboth Beach requests a construction permit to install a 1909.7 kW (2561 HP) emergency generator at their 20573 Roosevelt St., Rehoboth Beach, Sussex County wastewater treatment plant. The emergency generator will be permitted for 375 hours/year to comply with Minor New Source Review and emit 0.09 TPY PM, 0.006 TPY SO2, 4.79 TPY NOx, 0.43 TPY CO, and 0.04 TPY VOC by Permit# APC-2021/0047-CONSTRUCTION (NSPS)(GACT)(MNSR).
The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. To submit comments, for additional information or for information regarding how you can inspect the application, please contact Tracy Mattson at (302) 739‑9402.
A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending December 7, 2020. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
