Notice has been given that:
BioEnergy Development Group, LLC requests permission for the construction of one (1) natural gas-fired emergency generator with a standby power rating of 1,082 kW (1,451 HP) at the BioEnergy Innovation Center located at 28338 Enviro Way, Seaford in Sussex County, Delaware. The engine used in this generator set is certified to comply with U. S. EPA regulations under the provisions of Subpart JJJJ to 40 CFR 60 and the applicable emissions standards located therein. In addition to those emission standards, the engine will also be limited to 0.10 pounds per hour of particulate matter (PM10), 0.01 pounds per hour of sulfur dioxide (SO2), and 0.71 pounds per hour of hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). Construction of this generator shall be completed in compliance with the requirements of Permit: APC-2021/0009-CONSTRUCTION.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending Monday, September 14, 2020. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
