The DNREC State Energy office works to promote clean, affordable and reliable energy while advancing policies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and strengthen energy resilience across the state.

Through the Delaware State Energy Plan, the State Energy Office develops programs and partnerships that support energy justice, renewable energy and clean energy technologies, energy efficiency, grid modernization and workforce development.

The State Energy Office also provides funding opportunities and resources to residents, businesses, local governments and non-profits to help expand access to sustainable energy solutions and support Delaware’s clean energy and climate goals.
