Status Decision Application
Pursuant to the Delaware Coastal Zone Act (7 Del. Code Ch. 70), and the Regulations Governing Delaware’s Coastal Zone, the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) has received a request for a Coastal Zone Act (CZA) status decision (Project CZA-449SD) from Governor Lea Road, LLC. Governor Lea Road, LLC is seeking a status decision to determine whether or not the construction of a 353,500 square foot (ft2) warehouse building with vehicle loading docks at 750 Governor Lea Road, New Castle, DE 19720 requires a CZA permit, is exempt from CZA permitting, or is prohibited by the CZA. The proposed activities include the demolition of two existing buildings and the construction of the new 353,000 ft2 building with loading docks. No manufacturing activities are proposed. The public may review the proposed project details in the submitted application and send comments by email to CZA_Program@delaware.gov or by mail to CZA Program, 100 W.
