A Federal Consistency Determination has been submitted to the DNREC Delaware Coastal Management Program (DCMP) for the following: HUD W 6th Street Laurel (2026.0028)

Sussex County Habitat for Humanity is proposing to utilize U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) community project funding for the construction of three new single-family homes along W 6th Street in Laurel, DE, which will result in tree clearing of approximately 0.2 acres. The proposed activity is subject to review for consistency under the policies of the DNREC DCMP.

Comments concerning this Federal Consistency Determination will be accepted from July 31, 2026, through August 20, 2026.
