Pursuant to the Hazardous Substance Cleanup Act (HSCA), 7 Del. C. § 9107 (a)(1), requires the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) to provide “public notification within 20 days after entering into negotiations for a voluntary cleanup settlement agreement with any person that agrees to perform a remedy.”
DNREC’s Remediation Section (DNREC-RS) is negotiating a VCP Agreement with C&M Short Salvage Auto Parts LLC. for the C&M Short Auto Salvage (site), located at 4673 S. State Street, Magnolia, Delaware. Identified by Kent County as tax parcel number NM-00-104.00-02-45.00-00001, the Site may have had a release of hazardous substances because of historical activities on site.
