Notice has been given that:

Veolia Water Delaware requests a permit to remove exterior lead-containing coatings from an outdoor water tank by dry abrasive blasting located at 705 Governor Lea Rd., New Castle, New Castle by Permit# WT-2026/01.

The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding the application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending August 18, 2025. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
