This office has under consideration the application of:

Project Description: Bluewater Development Delaware Jellystone Beaches has submitted a renewal application for an Operating Permit for an On-site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System for the Delaware Beaches Jellystone Campground. The system has been designed to accommodate 19,900 gallons per day of domestic wastewater generated by 266 campsites and an office with a convenience store. The system consists of 12 septic tanks, one equalization tank, an effluent lift station, a dosing chamber and 22 pressure dosed beds for disposal.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
