The Hazardous Substance Cleanup Act (HSCA), 7 Del. C. § 9107 (a)(1), requires the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) to provide “public notification within 20 days after entering into negotiations for a voluntary cleanup settlement agreement with any person that agrees to perform a remedy.”
As required by § 9107 (a)(1), DNREC advises that it is negotiating a Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) Agreement with State of Delaware Office of Management and Budget. regarding the Black Oak Development Lewes Site (DE-1863) located at 14241 Black Oak Drive, Lewes, DE. The Site is identified as a portion of Sussex County tax parcel numbers 335-7.00.6.00. The Site requires remedial action due to historic activities on site.
