Notice has been given that:

Rocla Concrete Tie, Inc., requests a permit to construct a new baghouse on their existing central mix plant, a new baghouse on their existing weigh batcher, and two new silos with baghouses at their 268 East Scotland Drive, Bear, facility. The central mix plant with baghouse, weigh batcher with baghouse and two silos with baghouses will be permitted to emit 1.57 tons per year of total particulate and 0.74 tons per year of PM₁₀ by Permit: APC-1991/0002-CONSTRUCTION (Amendment 2), Permit: APC-1991/0003-CONSTRUCTION (Amendment 2), Permit: APC-2024/0064-CONSTRUCTION, and Permit: APC-2024/0079-CONSTRUCTION.

The application for these permits may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending April 22, 2024. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
