The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application for the construction of wastewater conveyance has been received concerning the following:

Ribera Development, LLC proposes to install a duplex submersible sanitary sewer pump station, approximately four thousand nine hundred and five linear feet (4,905 LF) of four (4) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main and related appurtenances to serve three hundred and twenty-nine (329) residential lots, a pool and a clubhouse in the proposed Westwood subdivision located on the north side of Williamsville Road, south of Norfolk Southern Railroad and approximately ½ mile west of the Milford Harrington Highway in Milford in Kent County, Delaware. The proposed pump station will be located within Westwood subdivision. The force main will start within the subdivision, then run east on the south side of Williamsville Road to an existing sanitary sewer gravity manhole located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Williamsville Road and the Milford Harrington Highway.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before June 28, 2023. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
