Project Description: Frank Chick, Trustee has submitted an application for a Construction and Operating Permit for an On-site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System for a proposed warehouse and distribution center. The system has been designed to accommodate 595 gallons per day of domestic wastewater generated by 113 employees. The system consists of one 1,500 gallon and one 1,000 gallon septic tank, one lift station, one 1,000 gallon dosing tank, and one elevated sand mound for disposal.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
