Project Description: Cavaliers Redevelopment, LP proposes to construct two sanitary sewer duplex pump stations and approximately one thousand two hundred and forty-one linear feet (1,241 LF) of six (6) inch diameter force main, two thousand one hundred and seventy-eight linear feet (2,178 LF) of eight (8) inch diameter force main to serve two hundred single family homes, one hundred twins, sixty-eight townhouses, sixty-two carriage houses, two hundred and eighty-eight apartments, a five hundred and sixty seat banquet facility and a two hundred member clubhouse in the Cavaliers Country Club subdivision located at 100 Addison Drive near Newark in New Castle County, Delaware. The proposed force main will be installed by directional drill under the Christiana River to the New Castle County owned sewer main located just west of Ivy Lane and the Oak Run subdivision.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 14 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
