The Hazardous Substance Cleanup Act (HSCA), 7 Del. C. § 9107 (a)(1), requires the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) to provide “public notification within 20 days after entering into negotiations for a voluntary cleanup settlement agreement with any person that agrees to perform a remedy.”

As required by § 9107 (a)(1), DNREC advises that it is negotiating a Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) Agreement with Parkway Gravel regarding the Riveredge Industrial Park Site (DE-1846) located at 110 Steel Drive & 150 Lukens Drive, New Castle, DE. The Site is identified as a portion of New Castle County tax parcel number 21-022.00-002. The Site requires remedial action due to historic activities on site.
