The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up the Former Amoco Film Plant Site (DE-1152) located at 955 River Road, New Castle, Delaware. The Site is an approximately 6.7-acre property consisting of one New Castle County tax parcel (10-036.00-006). The Brownfield Developer intends to redevelop the Site for commercial use. The existing building will continue to be used as a warehouse.

The Site will be subject to the following key remedial actions: utilization and compliance with a DNREC approved Contaminated Materials Management Plan (CMMP) and recording of an Environmental Covenant that restricts groundwater withdrawal at the Site.
