Subaqueous Lands Permit

James and Andrea Palmer – DC-17-01905-02-3400-000 – To remove an existing deteriorated bulkhead and to place 25 cubic yards of stone to construct a 99.5 foot long rip-rap revetment in Lake Como, at 351 Lake Drive, Cottage Dale Acres, Smyrna, Kent County, DE.

Michele Gardner/Stephen G. Draper Trustee & Ribera Development, LLC – MD-60-182.00-01-16.00 & 02-4.00 – To widen an existing unimproved farm road by placing 180 cubic yards of select construction fill and asphalt for the construction of a 50 foot wide right-of-way with sidewalks and a 28 foot wide two lane asphalt road section. To remove an existing culvert and to install a 68 foot long 60 inch diameter HDPE culvert with 10 foot long end sections, a 17 foot long, 10 inch diameter water main and an 8 inch diameter sewer main by trench cutting and to place 5.5 cubic yards of rip rap for scour protection at the downstream end of the culvert. The construction of the roadway will result in 1,300 square feet of total subaqueous lands impacts in an unnamed tributary to Ledlum Branch along Williamsville Road, ¾ mile west of the intersection of Williamsville Road and Milford-Harrington Highway, Milford, Kent County, DE.

Rolf Mair – 234-24.00-22.00 – To authorize a 3.5 foot wide by 10 foot long floating dock and a 10 foot wide by 13.5 foot long floating PWC dock in Herring Creek, at 35464 Council Lane, Sea View, Lewes, Sussex County, Delaware.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 20 days from this notice. Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
