Subaqueous Lands Lease

David Geiger – 1-34-23.16-59.00 and 1-34-23.16-60.00 – to install a 5 by 40 foot long dock, a boatlift with six (6) associated pilings, a boatlift with four (4) associated pilings, and a floating boatlift in Lighthouse Cove, at 901 Wright Street, Fenwick Island, Sussex County, DE.

James Aguirre – 533-13.13-13.00 – to repair 40 feet of existing bulkhead and to construct a 5 by 20 foot long dock, in Little Assawoman Bay, at 37892 Swann Drive, Selbyville, Sussex County, DE.

Schell SPE, LLC – 234-7.00-132.00 – to install a 4 by 20 foot long gangway and 8 by 24 foot long floating community kayak launch to an existing docking facility in Love Creek, at Marsh Island, 21383 Camp Arrowhead Road, Lewes, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Permit

Delaware Department of Transportation – adjacent to 133-16.00-5.00 – to create a grade separation, resulting in approximately 226 square feet of temporary subaqueous impacts and approximately 1,452 square feet of permanent subaqueous impacts in Sheep Pen Ditch, US 113 and SR 20 intersection, Millsboro, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Permit and Wetlands Permit

Delaware Department of Transportation – adjacent to 1500700064 – to repair bridge 1-451 resulting in approximately 29,000 square feet of temporary subaqueous lands impacts, 1,186 square feet of permanent subaqueous lands impacts, and 7, 772 square feet of temporary wetland impacts in Blackbird Creek, Blackbird Landing Road, Townsend, New Castle County, DE.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 20 days from this notice. Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
